Our next major adventure is calling—and it’s a big one.
We’re headed back to Africa for the second time in two years, and the journey promises to be one of the most awe-inspiring experiences of our lives. From summiting one of the world’s greatest peaks to exploring ancient craters, spotting wildlife on the savannas, and relaxing on a legendary island, this trip has it all.
It all begins with a dream climb: Mount Kilimanjaro.
Stratton is taking on the challenge of Africa’s highest peak from the West side via the Lemosho Route—eight days of trekking through rainforest, alpine desert, and ultimately to the “Roof of Africa” at 19,341 feet. It’s a test of will, preparation, and wonder.
Next, we head into the heart of Tanzania to explore the otherworldly beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Often called “Africa’s Eden,” this massive volcanic caldera is teeming with wildlife—from lions and elephants to rhinos and flamingos—all set against the backdrop of a collapsed volcano.
Our journey continues with safaris across Tanzania and into Kenya.
We’ll be tracking the Big Five, traversing the Serengeti, and soaking in the untamed beauty of the African bush. Expect stories of close encounters, golden sunsets, and ancient landscapes that speak to the soul.
And finally, we end our journey in the fabled and legendary island of Zanzibar.
Steeped in Swahili culture, spice-laden history, and surrounded by turquoise waters, Zanzibar offers the perfect exhale at the end of our expedition.
