Our adventure begins in Amritsar, home to the majestic Golden Temple. This sacred Sikh site, with its shimmering reflection in the surrounding waters, is sure to be a soul-stirring experience. We can’t wait to immerse ourselves in the peaceful aura of this iconic landmark.
Next, we’re off to Jodhpur, where history comes alive at the Wagah-Attari border. Witnessing the Changing of the Guard ceremony, with its theatrical displays of patriotism, promises to be unforgettable.
In Udaipur, the “City of Lakes,” we’ll explore its romantic charm, from the shimmering Lake Pichola to the resplendent City Palace. Every corner of this city whispers stories of royalty and timeless beauty.
Nepal: Touching the Roof of the World
From India, we’ll ascend to the Himalayan heights of Nepal. A scenic flight will offer us unparalleled views of Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak. This once-in-a-lifetime overflight will undoubtedly be one of the most awe-inspiring moments of our travels.
But Nepal has more than Everest to offer. We’re excited to dive into Kathmandu’s rich history, visit ancient temples, and experience the cultural tapestry of this mountain nation.
Bhutan: The Land of the Thunder Dragon
Our final stop is the mystical kingdom of Bhutan, where tradition and natural beauty harmonize perfectly. In Paro, we’ll hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktshang Palphug). Perched dramatically on a cliffside, this sacred site is as challenging to reach as it is rewarding to behold.
Bhutan’s pristine landscapes, happiness-driven culture, and spiritual depth make it the perfect finale to our journey.
