Reincarnation: The Eternal Journey of the Soul

Traveling in Napal I’m pondering what if death is not an end, but a doorway? Across cultures and philosophies, the idea of reincarnation suggests that our souls travel through lifetimes, gathering wisdom, seeking balance, and refining our essence.

Hinduism teaches us that karma shapes our rebirth, binding us to the cycle of samsara until we attain liberation—moksha. The Bhagavad Gita reminds us: “Just as a person discards worn-out clothes and puts on new ones, so the embodied soul discards worn-out bodies and takes on new ones.” (2:22)

The idea of reincarnation invites us to approach life with patience, purpose, and compassion. Every challenge may be a lesson carried from past lives. Every encounter could be the continuation of an ancient bond.

What if we embraced this perspective? Would we live with greater mindfulness? Would we extend more kindness, knowing that our actions ripple through lifetimes?

Whether you see reincarnation as a literal truth or a metaphor for personal evolution, one thing is clear: growth is never-ending, and our journey is far from over.
