In just a few weeks, I’ll be setting off on my next big adventure: a 73-mile trek, 7 day trek across Northern England along the legendary Hadrian’s Wall. Built nearly 2,000 years ago under the orders of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, this ancient fortification once marked the northern boundary of the Roman Empire in Britain—stretching coast to coast and brimming with history, myth, and rugged beauty. It is the inspiration for the Wall in Game of Thrones.
I’ll fly into London first and spend some time at one of my favorite museums in the world, the British Museum, soaking in the deep cultural context of what I’m about to walk through. Then, I’ll hop a train north to begin the walk itself—a journey that combines everything I love: travel, history, physical challenge, and the great outdoors.
Even more meaningful, I’m raising funds for our daughter Rachel’s incredible charity, which helps young people strengthen their math skills and build brighter futures. That mission gives every step more purpose.
I’m training hard and loving life every second. Let the countdown begin!
