To all my friends, I’m thrilled to share that this week I signed a publishing contract for my upcoming book, From Crisis to Kilimanjaro. The publication process takes awhile and I want this book, my first in 25 years after Showing UP, to be as good as possible. It is slated for publication next October.
As many of you may know, my own crisis was twofold — an aggressive cancer diagnosis and an identity crisis brought on by retiring from law after 45 years. Both forced me to confront who I was and who I could still become.
This book is about that journey — from diagnosis to retirement to the summit of Africa’s highest peak — but it’s also about you. It’s filled with practical tools and timeless insights to help you face your own crisis, whatever it may be, and climb your own mountain — metaphorically or literally.
The climb is personal. The view from the top is universal.
